Swimming and Sunning
There’s something about swimming in a freshwater river that is so refreshing. The warm water and sandy river floor are as inviting as the sun shining down on your body. Grab a blanket and absorb the sun’s rays on the sand or wade into the river for a surreal experience.
Kayaking and Paddleboarding
The property has two kayaks and a variety of stand-up paddleboards to explore the river. What’s more fun than heading out on the water with friends on a sunny day? Nothing, really. Life vests are available for everyone, from toddler to adult.
Seashell and Sharks Teeth Hunting
Mixed in with the covering of seashells along the shore are prehistoric sharks teeth. Your treasures will be great for collecting, using in arts and crafts back at the cottage, or to take them home to display. There are some amazing finds if you look hard enough.
The Fire Pit
Guests enjoy sitting around the firepit for the warmth and the views of the river, but all that outdoor air can make you hungry. Fear not! Grab a skewer, or even a twig, pierce some hot dogs and soon you’ll have a great outdoor meal. Wash it down with an ice-cold drink of choice and don’t forget the S’mores for dessert. The perfect end to a perfect day.
Kids Rope Course
Kids love to climb just about as much as monkeys. Let them burn off steam, American Ninja style on the kid’s rope course. Watch as they gain confidence and test their physical capabilities.
Wooded Paths
Explore nature on wooded paths, ride your bike, pick flowers, collect leaves. It’s all there and it’s free. That’s the beauty of the outdoors.
